A 20-year-old youth committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling fan at his residence in Manimajra, on Tuesday. Sister of the deceased noticed him and informed the police. The deceased, Gurnam Singh, a resident of Manimajra, recently completed his Diploma in Electronics. Gurnam was living here with his family.
A suicide note was recovered from the spot where Gurnam has stated that only he responsible for the step. He, however, did not mention any specific reason for the suicide but sought apology from his parents for taking this step.
According to his family, he committed suicide while he was alone at home. When his sister came back from the market, she noticed him hanging and informed her parents about this. Parents of Gurnam said he was depressed for past few weeks, but he never disclosed the reason to anyone.
