Come November 6, two new daily flights will be started from Amritsar to Bangkok and Goa with SpiceJet on Tuesday announcing the launch of these two flights by handing over the first ticket to Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh.
A three-member team from SpiceJet, led by Chief Customer Service Officer Kamal Hingorani, met Capt Amarinder to announce the launch of the new flights from Sri Guru Ram Das Jee International Airport.
Capt Amarinder said there was a huge potential of tourism in Punjab, especially the holy city of Amritsar, which is visited by a large number of devotees thronging from around the world to pay obeisance at Sri Darbar Sahib and Durgiana Mandir, besides paying tributes to the great martyrs at Jallianwala Bagh.
