After lying low for many days, the contagion of the Covid-19 is showing signs of upswing again.
The Haryana Health department on Monday reported 2427 fresh cases of the disease after which the number of the Covid-19 cases in the State increased to 1, 85, 231.
The department also reported the death of seven patients of the disease which increased the death toll to 1919 in the State. 2151 Covid-19 patients were released from the hospitals on the day after their recovery.
A total of 1, 66, 595 patients have so far recovered from the disease and the percent recovery stands at 89.94 percent in the State. The active cases in the State stand at 16,717.
Of the fresh fatalities, three were reported from Fatehabad, two from Sirsa and one from Gurugram, it said.
The bulletin said that among the districts which reported a big spike in cases were Gurugaon (697), Faridabad (570), Hisar (283), Rohtak (110), Sirsa (97), Rewari (96) and Sonepat (80).
