The festival season, the crowded markets and flaying of social distancing norms is getting reflected in the number of Covid-19 cases in Haryana.Nineteen more people died from coronavirus in the state on Thursday as 2788 fresh cases surfaced, pushing the state’s infection count to 1,93,111, according to a health bulletin. So far, 1979 people have died from the infection in the StateOf the fresh fatalities, six were reported from Hisar, four from Faridabad, three from Gurugram, two each from Bhiwani and Jind while one each from Sirsa and Jhajjar, the bulletin said.
Among the districts which reported the maximum cases were Gurugram (692), Faridabad (598), Hisar (285), Bhiwani (174).
Sonepat (160) and Rohtak (120).
Currently, the state has 18,867 active cases with the recovery rate hovering around 89.21 per cent.
