Haryana on Wednesday recorded 130 fresh coronavirus cases, taking the total number of infections in the State to 2,70,097, a health department bulletin said.
One more fatality took place in Panchkula, taking the death toll due to Covid-19 stood at 3,043, according to the bulletin. Moreover, 2644 health workers and frontline workers were vaccinated. So far, 27, 6536 health care workers have been vaccinated in the State.
Among 130, 39 fresh cases were reported from Gurugram, while Kurukshetra reported 16 new cases. The number of active cases in the state is 955, while as many as 2,66,099 patients have recovered. The recovery rate is 98.52 percent, the bulletin stated.
1 DEATH, 41 FRESH CASES IN CHANDIGARH
One more person succumbed to COVID-19 as 41 fresh positive cases surfaced in Chandigarh on Wednesday. While the tally stood at 21541, the death toll has reached 351 in the city, according to the Chandigarh Health Department’s evening bulletin. 17 patients have recovered in the past 24 hours taking the total number of recoveries to 20940, it stated. 2.48 lakh samples have so far been tested in the city in which 1640 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours.
