Haryana on Wednesday recorded 13 fatalities and 1205 new Covid-19 infections, the health bulletin stated. The death toll has mounted to 1614 and the total number of positive cases has risen to 1, 45, 507.
Of the 13 deaths, four people succumbed to the virus in Hisar, three in Panchkula, two each in Faridabad, Rohtak and one each in Gurugram and Bhiwani. Apart from that 1324 more patients have been cured in the past 24 hours, taking overall recoveries to 1,33,706. The number of active cases stand at 10,187. The doubling rate in Haryana was 39 days on Wednesday also, while the recovery rate was 91.89 per cent and fatality rate 1.11%.
As per the bulletin, Gurugram reported 269 new infections, Faridabad 163, Rewari 71, Hisar 105, Mahendergarh 49, Kurukshetra 68, Sonepat 67, Panchkula 27, Rohtak 69, Sirsa 58, Yamunanagar 27, Jhajjar 30, Ambala 50, Karnal 31, Panipat 19, Palwal 15 and Bhiwani 34.
