Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij on Wednesday suspended 11 officials during a surprise inspection in the office of the Department at New Secretariat in Sector 17 here.
While services of four officials have been placed under suspension for proceeding on leave without prior approval, seven others have been suspended for delaying action on files pending with them for several years, said the Minister.
Vij said, “Delay in disposal of cases of the public would not be tolerated. If any employee is found neglecting his official duties, strict action would be taken against him.”
The Minister also directed the Joint Secretary, Health to prepare a report of pending cases and submit it to his office within one week.
