Eleven more people succumbed to Covid-19 in Haryana on Friday, taking the State's death toll to 1634, while 1227 fresh cases pushed the infection tally to 1,47, 933 according to the health department's daily bulletin. Of the latest fatalities, four were reported from Hisar and two each from Faridabad, Gurugram and one each from Jind Kurukshetra and Yamunanagar, the bulletin stated. A total of 1139 Covid-19 patients were cured and released from the hospitals after recovery in the State, taking the total count to 135,858.
Among the districts which reported a big spike in cases are Gurgaon (293), Faridabad (189) and Hisar (107). Currently, the number of active covid-19 cases in Haryana stands at 10,441.
The State has a recovery rate of 91.84 per cent, the bulletin said.
