One lakh taps would be installed in 30 subdivisions of Haryana by June this year to save approximately 10 lakh litres of water per day, Haryana Agriculture and Development & Panchayats Minister, O.P. Dhankar said on Saturday.

The minister urged the people to cooperate in this huge campaign of water conservation so as to make the water supply available to those households where it was not possible earlier.
He said that as the water is a non-renewable resource and its conservation is the need of the hour.
