Punjab Revenue and Public Relations Minister Bikram Singh Majithia on Wednesday claimed that at least 10 Congress MlAs were willing to join the Shiromani Akali Dal before lok Sabha elections “after being dissapointed from inefficient Congress leadership in the State”.
Majithia pointed out that after consecutive rejection by the people of Punjab, party leaders were in total disarray and the support to corrupt leaders by high command has worsened the situation. “The lacklustre performance of its MlAs in recent Vidhan Sabha session depicts prevailing frustration in the Congress,” said Majithia. He was quite confident for adequate youth representation in lok Sabha tickets as Sukhbir Badal has given two out of four tickets to youth leaders for Delhi Assembly.
