It was a clash of couplets between Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and his Congress predecessor and LoP Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Monday in the State Assembly during the adjournment motion on the HPSC recruitment scam.
The Chief Minister, while beginning his reply to the debate, attacked the Congress saying “main ek chiraag hoon, mere dushmani sirf andhere se hai, hawa to bevajah hi mere khilaph hai.”
He also took a jibe at the opposition with another couple saying, “yahaan har koi rakhta hai, khabar gairo ke gunahon ki, ajab phitrat hain, koi aaina rakhta hi nahi. Soon after, Hooda while responding to this said “aise maahaul mein, dawa kya hai, dua kya hai, jahaan kaatil hi khud puche ki hua kya hai?”
To this, Khattar added another couplet addressed to the opposition, “chha jati hai chupi agar gunaah apne hon... baat dooje ki ho to shor bahut hota hai.”
