FICCI ladies Organisation (FlO), a non- profit organization, which focuses on promoting entrepreneurship and professionalism in women, organised an Interactive session with FabIndia Managing Director, William N Bissell recently on 'Thriving in an Age of Rapid & Uncertain Change'. The session aimed at providing insight on how businesses and entrepreneurs should respond to the sudden need to change and confront ambiguity on a daily basis.
While addressing the gathering FlO President Neeta Boochra expressed her delight and pleasure to have Forbes India leadership Awardee for Entrepreneur with Social Impact, William N Bissell and hoped to have an introspective and insightful session on ways to re-invent and innovate continuously in an age of rapid change.
The session also highlighted strategies that could be adapted to continually be alert to changes in the environment and carefully analyze it in search of opportunities. Talking about 'Adapting fast' Bissell said that "In a world of rapid and uncertain change, bring oblivious about your environment is the worst way to lead". "You just don't need to be a good surfer but should also be at the right spot where the next wave will come" he added. The key takeaway from the session was to stay alert to changing environment and re-invent continuously both in our work and personal lives.
