The condition that this country is in today would ravage the heart of any sensitive and patriotic person. Corruption is rife here…. Everywhere! More than that our abject acceptance of all this is condemnable. Our everyday social, culture and political life bears it out amply. True, some of us are at once irate and helpless.
let's not be euphoric about anything. No paeans for us! Don't forget for a moment that we have been branded as underachievers. Out there in the parliament is the hantle of those parliamentarians who have criminal records. They are not even aware of the respect for this august institution. Their frequent use of the billingsgate and scenes of pandemonium confirm the observation.
Crime rates are up. Drugs and dastardly acts are up. Money and muscle power politics is up. lawlessness is up. Disregard for duty or any norm is up.. The exploitation of the poor is up. Farmers suicide is up. And with all that what moves up and up is the all round restlessness and helplessness of the mass . When will the volcano erupt and in which shape no one knowsIJ Still, it seems no one is bothered thinking about it. It is as if , instead of wealth creation by the nation, the process of wealth accumulation by a few hundreds is happening all through the nation.
Perhaps, all this presages an impending disaster! The collapsing of a system!
Infrastructure, power, telecom, real estate, retail….they all are in few hands and with a few business families, who have the monopoly of running it their way for their own maximum benefits and profits. And they don't care about anyone. When they are advised to think about the public good, they threaten to leave the country and set up industries abroad.

How could that recently in IPl Cricket with the nexus of mafia, smugglers, underworld, corrupt corporate houses and politician, matches were fixed and 40000 crores could be illegally transacted unaccountably but powerful people at top were mute spectator.
Resources loot and mafia raj is spreading. Officers in bureaucracy are pressurized by the mafia behavior of political masters are behaving like their personal servants. Any one with money is boasting of buying the system and keeping it in his pocket. Mao's are spreading their network unchecked, terrorism is occurring in many new shapes and sizes, leaders are quarrelling between themselves and the nation is going down everyday in everyway. And more shockingly, this state of affairs is allowed to continue and grow everyday… in everyway.
The deadlock in the parliament today, is only the tips of an iceberg. If not taken care of now, it would grow into a fierce monster and eat up this democracy. The country would then fall apart. The two of our Central Ministers resigned recently as they were involved in venal practices. Have we become pachydermatous!IJ
The way politicians and bureaucrats and top law officers have told lies to the supreme court is unimaginable. Not only that much, they have betrayed the people and destroyed their dreams.
The CBI must put its foot down now. Expose anyone who is involved in any seam. There is a golden opportunity for it now to clean its image. There is also a golden opportunity for Director CBI to clear his image of 'Pliable', Timid or playing to gallery of politician. He being an honest, courageous and bold and humble officer must come to the expectation of people. He should rise above any political compulsions and exert his authority. By being a true bastion of freedom, it will restore the people's faith in democracy….
