Jindal Steel and Power ltd (JSPl) has appointed Vijay Gopal Jindal as Advisor to the company's Chairman Naveen Jindal. According to a statement issued by the company, in his role as advisor, he will provide strategic direction to various business segments and functions of JSPl.
Vijay Gopal Jindal will be working with the apex leadership of JSPl, including the Chairman and the Managing Director & CEO Ravi Uppal.
A media industry veteran, Mr Jindal has more than 31 years of experience in managing businesses, brands, private equity investments and undertaking strategic initiatives.
The JSPl statement added that he has had long stints in senior management positions in organisations like The Times Group and Zee TV.
