All the eight telecom companies that have applied for bidding in spectrum auction today submitted their ownership certification to the Department of Telecom.
“The applicants for auction of spectrum in 1800 MHz and 900 MHz band here today submitted the bidder ownership compliance certificate to the DoT, thus completing another step in this auction process,” an official statement said.
Earlier this week, the DoT had published the ownership details of the eight applicants-- Reliance Jio Infocomm, Vodafone, Airtel, Aircel, Tata Teleservices, Idea Cellular, Telewings (Uninor) and Reliance Communications.
“With this, seven steps have been completed in the process of auction as per the revised auction time table issued by DoT,” the statement said.
