The new officers are elected for a one-year period,” the global steel body said on Wednesday.
The board elected Kosei Shindo, Representative Director and President, Nippon Steel and Sumitomo Metal Corporation as the Chairman, the body said. John Ferriola, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, President, Nucor Corporation and POSCO CEO Ohjoon Kwon have been elected to the post of Vice Chairman.
