In a move to attract perspective investors to the State, Rajasthan Government is mulling a big investment opportunity through Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet-2016 or ‘Gram 2016’. The two-day ‘GRAM 2016’ event is scheduled to be held at Jaipur from November 9, 2016. Minister of Agriculture Prabhu lal Saini of the State has invited farmers and industrialists to partner with the state in agriculture and its related sectors, according to a State Government official.
“The representations from Holland, Israel, Australia and Canada and over 40,000 farmers across the country will attend it,” the official said, adding that the objective of ‘GRAM 2016’ is to ensure the economic empowerment of the farmers through sustainable growth in agriculture by 2022.
