President of India, Pranab Mukherjee will grace the occasion of Public Sector Day and present the prestigious SCOPE Awards to Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) on 11th April 2017 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. Anant G Geete, Union Minister of Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises, Babul Supriyo, Minister of State for Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises shall also grace the occasion in the august presence of Seema Bahuguna, IAS, Secretary, DPE, Ved Prakash , Chairman, SCOPE & CMD, MMTC, RK Bahuguna, Vice Chairman, SCOPE & CMD, RailTel Corporation, Dr UD Choubey, Director General, SCOPE and host of representatives from public sector enterprises, senior government officials, media etc.
The Award function is being organised jointly by SCOPE and Department of Public Enterprises (DPE). The winners of the SCOPE Excellence Awards (Individual leadership Category) are Dr Anoop Kumar Mittal, CMD, NBCC, B Ashok, Chairman, IOCl, AK Jain, MD, REIl, KS Popli, CMD, IREDA, Pooja Kapoor, Head (|Business Development), WAPCOS (Outstanding Woman Manager in PSEs). REC, NAlCO, MECl, ONGC Videsh ltd, ECIl and GSl have been awarded in the Institutional Category.
