Country’s largest power generating firm NTPC has set a target of adding 2,145 MW of capacity during the current financial year (2015-16). The company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in this regard with the central government. As per the MoU, NTPC shall generate 246 billion units (BU) during the financial year (2015-16).
