Keeping in mind the recent over subscription of Coal India ltd's (CIl) Offer For Sale (OFS), National Stock Exchange on Thursday asked brokerages firms and retail investors to keep adequate funds ready as more such OFS' are likely to take place within the next one month.

With the Government planning to take the OFS route to divest their shares in some of the major Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) like BHEl, NMDC, and Nalco to meet their target for FY15, NSE Chief Business Development Officer, Ravi Varanasi evinced his concerns on the short time period that buyers get to buy the shares.

"What we are telling investors and brokerages is that since good issues are coming and at a discount, keep whatever money you think you want to invest available in the bank account. The moment the issue is announced brokers need to reach out to the clients," Varanasi said .
