NMDC received “Innovative Stakeholders Interface” award at the SCOPE Corporate Excellence Awards 2019 at New Delhi today.
Shri Sumit Deb, Executive Director (P&A) received the award on behalf of NMDC from BP Singh, IAS, Former Governor of Sikkim and Former Home Secretary, Government of India.
NMDC received this award for organizing an International Conference on Minerals & Metals Outlook-2030 at New Delhi during October 2018. This conference was attended by more than 600 delegates from 16 countries.
During the said conference deliberations took place on the future of minerals and metals worldwide. The seminar also helped to understand the global commodities market for minerals and metals, highlighting the inter-linkage between mineral development and economic growth, the developments in the international metals market that can impact the Indian metals industry and identifying opportunities in Indian mining and metals.
