Mercedes-Benz has received single largest fleet order of supplying 120 C-Class sedans from car rental firm Carzonrent worth Rs40 crore.
“This is the biggest single corporate deal by Mercedes-Benz in India. The growing preference for Mercedes products by exclusive customers is a strong reaffirmation for the brand’s immaculate equity,” said Mercedes-Benz India Managing Director & CEO Eberhard Kern, adding, “we would supply the cars in the next four weeks across Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai.”
Talking about luxury car market Carzonrent MD Rajiv Vij said: “120 Mercedes-Benz C-Class units will increase the premium and luxury fleet size to 800 cars and also expand its reach throughout the country.”
“We plan to invest around Rs1,200 crore in the next three years on fleet expansion, taking the total number of cars to 30,000 units from the current 7,500 cars,” Vij detailed investment plan.
