Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) chairman Manoj Kumar on Monday unfurled the National flag on the occasion of the 76th Republic Day. Speaking on the occasion, Kumar urged to dynamically participate in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of a "Viksit Bharat" and work diligently for the socio-economic upliftment of the Nation.
He further reinvigorated KVIC employees to uphold the highest standards of dedication, creativity, and service towards nation-building in this Amrit kal. Speaking specifically on empowerment of women in this Amritkal, he emphasized on several ways efforts have been made to rise the status of women through education, awareness, literacy, equal status in society, better livelihood by financial independence presently around 80 per cent work force are women in our sector.
