Global provider of customer contact solutions and product support services, iQor on Tuesday said it will be investing around $200 million as part of its expansion plans in India. “India is the world's fastest-growing major economy and is projected to be the second largest smartphone market by 2016,” said iQor's CEO Hartmut liebel.  “With infrastructure and staff already in place throughout the country, iQor is perfectly positioned to meet India's increasing demands for skilled, immediate product support,” he added.

The company believes expansion will create 20,000 new jobs in all the Indian states. The main growth will come from the opening of two new repair depot hubs in Chennai and Hyderabad as well as new walk-in service centers along with on-site services for some of the world's foremost manufacturers of digital devices. The company has plans to nearly quadruple its network of convenient, brand-exclusive centers and technical assistance in the coming months. By the end of 2015, iQor will expand its footprint to 115 locations in 109 cities and 22 states. “All our global and domestic clients are expanding massively in India as they are all looking for one or two partners to deliver quality services across the country.”
