The two-day global investor meet ‘Resurgent Rajasthan’ is beginning on Thursday, which will see participation of top industrialists like Adani Group chief Gautam Adani, Reliance Group Chairman Anil Ambani and Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra.
The inaugural session of the Summit will be addressed by Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and he will kick start the investors meet. The valedictory speech will be given by Minister for Commerce and Industry Nirmala Sitharaman.
The Summit will be attended by Minister for MSME Kalraj Mishra, Mines Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, Power Minister Piyush Goyal among other ministers.
There will be 10 special sessions on Day One – eight that focus on the thrust areas of Rajasthan and two country-specific sessions on Japan and Singapore. In these sessions, industry leaders and senior Government officials will deliberate on issues and concerns, discuss strengths and partnerships and chart the course for the future.
The sectoral sessions will shed light on the thrust sectors of Rajasthan and be on themes such as ‘Smart Cities & Highways’; ‘Make in India: Skilling Rajasthan’; ‘leveraging tourism for sustainable development’; ‘Auto and ESDM sector’; ‘Agriculture and Food Processing’; ‘Regulatory Reforms’; ‘Sustainable Mining’ and ‘Transforming Healthcare Delivery in Rajasthan’.
