lauding the outcome of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s strategic foreign visits, Union Telecom Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on Wednesday said that country’s governance has improved after Modi Government took over.
“The Prime Minister has undertaken about 23-24 foreign tours. Through these visits, PM Modi wants to convey that India is a country whose voice must be heard at the world stage. India is an important power of the world," Prasad said while launching a book titled as ‘Indian Industralisation - Trajectory Redefined’, authored by an eminent writer Dr AK Agarwal.
Dr Agarwal, who is a prolific writer and author of Management by Walking's fame, is a technocrat having over 30 years experience in spearheading successful global business alliances.
Prasad, however, added, "I can proudly say that in Vajpayee's Government, it was said, reform is the right way. Then reform was by choice. Fundamental difference has to be appreciated. Modi has made over 24 tours so far and through these tours he has tried to reinstate the fact that India is not a small country.”
Congratulating Dr Agarwal for his intellectual work, Union Minister of Culture and Tourism Mahesh Sharma said, “Modi’s ‘Make in India’ dream is being fulfilled through this book. It is unique and has got high degree of international quality. I think the book is ideal to be read for long term and sustainable results in doing industrial activities in India.”
During the launch ceremony, other dignitaries including Professor MD Nalapat, Guido Christ, Baldeo Bhai Sharma, Rameshwar Chaurasia and danseuse Sonal Mansingh were also present on the occasion.
