GNDU will prepare Job-Creating Students: Professor Karamjeet Singh
Amritsar: During a speical Press Meeting with media personel, Prof Karamjeet Singh, Vice-Chancellor, Guru Nanak Dev University said that every year in India, approximately 30 lakh students complete their education and become eligible for jobs, but only 10 lakh students secure employment.
Vedanta celebrates India’s largest cohort of Women in Mining
New Delhi: Ahead of International Day of Women in Mining, Vedanta Limited (NSE: VEDL) celebrated India’s largest cohort of women in underground mining. Vedanta and Hindustan Zinc were the first in India to induct women in underground mining in 2019. Over 550 women work in core mining operations across the company’s various businesses.
