US car major Ford plans to launch its iconic sedan 'Mustang' in India in the 2nd quarter of this year. The company, which is present in India via a wholly-owned subsidiary, currently sells models like EcoSport and Endeavour in the country. “First time in 50 years we have right handed Mustang. We will launch this iconic model in India in second quarter of 2016,” Ford India MD and President Nigel Harris told reporters. The coming of Mustang to India is like icing on the cake considering the co's current product range in the country, he added. “The new Mustang is a modern interpretation of the American icon and we are thrilled to be giving our customers in India the opportunity to experience this piece of automotive history for the first time," Harris said.
