Amid the demonetisation move by the Government, an alarming trend has also been on the rise with Indian farmers involved with cash corps in last 20 years of which a maximum part was ruled by UPA are likely opt out field due to the decline of their income. A study conducted by Public Response Against Helplessness and Action for Redressal , a Delhi-based NGO said about 70.8 % farmers feel that their income has been decreasing while 59% farmers say that the drop in income has been the sharpest during the last 5 to 10 years.
