‘Mosquito terminator’ train flagged off
In keeping with the annual programme, Delhi Division of Northern Railway and South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) on Saturday jointly flagged off the ‘Mosquito Terminator’ special train which will help in preventing the mosquito breeding along the railway tracks in Delhi area. The “Mosquito Terminator on Wheels” will cover a distance of 150 km in each cycle over a period of two days. Hon ’ble Mayor South Delhi Municipal Corporation, Sunita Kangra, along with SC Jain, Divisional Railway Manager, Delhi flagged off the above Train. Senior Officers from Delhi Division and SDMC were also present.
CWA bags ‘We the Stree'
Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar, DG, CRPF and Dr. Manu Bhatnagar, President, CRPF Family Welfare Association (CWA) have been awarded with the prestigious recognition “We for Stree” by the Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Society of India (FOGSI)- the largest medical body in the field of women’s heath in the country.
