In this age of change, to keep pace with the changing times, Indian Railways constantly innovate. Northern Railways which is the largest among all zones, lead from the front. However, many of the innovations, being undocumented neither are spread nor are adopted by others. An effort has therefore been made to document these initiatives.In this regard, Northern Railway has recently published a booklet titled “Recent Innovations”. NHPC Director visits Loktak Power Station
Nikhil Kumar Jain, Director (Personnel), NHPC Ltd., made his maiden visit to Loktak Power Station during 29th September to 2nd October, 2018. Upon his arrival, Jain was given warm welcome by all employees of Loktak Power Station led by KT Rajah Pandian, Chief Engineer (E), Loktak Power Station. During his visit, Jain inspected all the vital components/installation of Power Station including Power House at Leimatak, Ithai Barrage at Ithai and other water conducting systems of Power Station.
