PCRA’s awareness initiative for petroleum conservation
Petroleum Conservation & Research Association (PCRA), under the aegis of Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India, aims to make oil conservation a national movement. PCRA is entrusted with the task of creating awareness amongst the masses about the importance, methods and benefits of conserving petroleum products & emission reduction. With this objective, PCRA conducted a study through Central Road Research Institute (CRRI) in 2016-17 to gauge the impact of an awareness campaign on vehicle users’ switching off behavior “before”, “during” and “after” a 7 days long awareness campaign at Bhikaji Cama Place Traffic Intersection.
INTERNATIONAL DAY OF SIGN LANGUAGES celebrated
‘International Day of Sign Languages’ was celebrated by Indian Sign Language Research and Training Centre (ISLRTC) under Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment here on Monday. Krishan Pal Gurjar, Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Shakuntala D Gamlin, Secretary, DEPwD, Dolly Chakravarty, Joint Secretary & Director, ISLRTC and many Deaf and Dumb persons along with their families were present.

WEEKLY commercial STEAM TRAIN INTRODUCED
