POWERGRID’s former DirECTOR (PersONNEL) VK Singh appointed CEO of PSSC
VK Singh, former Director (Personnel) of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID), has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Power Sector Skill Council (PSSC). He is a highly decorated global business leader with nearly 38 years of professional experience in the HR domain, handling various HR-gamut as IR, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Employee Engagement etc. He was also the President of Maharatna HR Forum, which is a leading forum of HR Fraternity in the Indian Maharatna CPSE Sector focusing to collaborate, highlight, brainstorm and resolve macro-level sectorial issues of common concern amongst the Maharatnas. Power Sector Skill Council (PSSC) is an organisation facilitating skill development activities, including capacity building for training delivery to meet the needs of the Power Industry, that consist of the Conventional Power Sector (Generation, Transmission, and Distribution), Renewable Energy and Power Equipment Manufacturing Sector. The Ministry of Power, Ministry of New & Renewable Energy, Indian Electrical & Electronics Manufacturers Association. Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) and the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) are key stake holders in the council.
POWERGRID celebrates World Environment Day by organizing awareness talks along with plantation drives
Jammu: As a part of awareness on LiFE (Life style for Environment), launched by Honorable Prime Minister, POWER GRID CORPORATION OF INDIA LIMITED (POWERGRID on Monday organised plantation drives across its all establishments in Northern Region-II on the World Environment Day . LiFE Pledge was administered to all employees on this occasion.
