DDA meeting held under chairmanship of Anil Baijal at Raj Niwas
A meeting of the Delhi Development Authority was held under the chairmanship of Anil Baijal, lt Governor, Delhi/Chairman, DDA at Raj Niwas on june 19. The proposal regarding proposed amendments in Proposed Amendments in Development Control Norms of Shop-Cum-Residential Plots in MPD-2021 and Proposed Norms for Redevelopment of Godowns Clusters existing in Non-Conforming Areas — as a modification to MPD — 2021 was approved by the Authority in its meeting held on February 27. Based on the above approval of the Authority, the matter was forwarded to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Govt of India for approval and issuance of final notification under Section 11-A of DD Act —1957. Supreme Court in WP(C) No.4677/1985 titled as MC Mehta Vs UOI & Ors. had given the following directions: “…. That being the position, further progress in the Amendment of the Master Plan is stayed”.
Inauguration of ‘Training-cum-Conference Hall’ in Northern Rly Headquarters Office
Northern Railway with its employee base of around 1.5 lakh is taking number of initiatives to align and energise its Human Resource to create a work culture of excellence and continuous learning so as to maximise employees’ contribution and motivation. Training has been recognised as an effective intervention to create a culture of Accountability, Responsibility, Transparency and Efficiency. A training cum conference hall of Personnel Department ,Northern Railway was inaugurated on June 15. by the eldest employees namely Smt. Vibha, Shri. Gabber Singh and Shri.Bhagat Singh.
General Manager, Northern Railway, Vishwesh Chaube, graced the occasion with his August presence along with Principal Chief Personnel Officer and other PHODs.
