The State on Monday reported a decline in the daily Covid-19 cases with 221 infections reported from 23 districts and the State pool, taking the total tally to 13,27,150.
Among the newly-infected were 31 children in the age group of 0 to18 years.
Notably, the State had reported 257 Covid cases on Sunday.
Khodha district reported the highest 58 new cases followed by Sundargarh with 35, Sambalpur 15, Balangir 14, Nabarangpur 13, Cuttack 12, Kalahandi 10, Nuapada nine, Jajpur six, Mayurbhanj five, Jharsuguda and Subarnapur four each, Baleswar, Kandhamal, Nayagarh and Rayagada three each, Bargarh, Boudh and Deogarh two each and Angul, Kendrapada, Koraput and Puri one each.
Besides, 14 positives were detected from the State pool.
The active cases numbered 1,994.
Meanwhile, two more persons succumbed to the disease in Nayagarh and Subarnapur districts, increasing the total death toll to 9,174 in the State. So far, 13,15,929 patients have recovered.
