A delegation of Yuva Utkal Bharat (YUB) on Saturday met the 20-year-old girl, injured in acid attack, from Badanaukana village under Rajnagar police station area in Kendrapada district, who is undergoing treatment in the SCB Medical College and Hospital at Cuttack since Friday.
The delegation consisted YUB State committee member Debashrita Mohanty, Bhubaneswar zone vice president Debasmita Mohanty, Utkal Bharat State general secretary Bishnudatta Acharya, Girindra Ghosh and Sk Kamiluddin Ahmed. They met the victim and condemned the heinous crime against the innocent girl. The leaders demanded the State Government to provide free treatment to the victim. They also demanded Rs 3 lakh to the victim’s family as compensation within 15 days.
