The police on Thursday exhumed the body of an unidentified youth, who was allegedly killed by some unknown persons two days back with the body being slyly buried in a bushy area of village Baliaharipur under the Bari police station.
Bad smell started coming out from the spot on, for which some villagers informed the police, and the police in the presence of a magistrate exhumed the body. The body was replete with injury marks, due to which the police suspect that the deceased was killed. The police sent the body to the local Government hospital for autopsy.
A scientific team rushed to the spot from Cuttack for further investigation. The police are yet to arrest anybody in this case.
