Harassing a woman over phone proved costly for a youth after the victim’s relatives tied him to a motorcycle and dragged him to a police station at Brahmagiri in Puri district.
The matter came to the fore after the video of the incident went viral on the social media on Thursday. Sources said the youth Ramesh Bhoi was harassing a married woman over telephone since the few days.
Irritated over the repeated harassment, the relatives of the woman decided to teach the unidentified caller a lesson.
According to per plans, the woman called Ramesh and asked him to meet her at a secluded spot in Bentpur. When he arrived there the woman’s relatives who were hiding nearby pounced on him and thrashed him. later, they tied him to a motorbike and dragged him two km to the police station. The incident has become a hot topic of discussion in the area.
