The Banpur police on Thursday arrested a youth for allegedly posting nude photographs of a girl on social media platform Facebook.
The accused was identified as Sagar Sundara (28) of Salapdiha village. He was forwarded to court, which sent him to judicial custody after rejecting his bail plea.
According to reports, the youth had physical relation with the girl of the Nachuni police outpost area promising her of marriage. Without her knowledge, he had recorded a video featuring a few intimate scenes with her.
Sagar was out of the village for around a year. After returning home, he forced the girl to have physical relation with him. When the girl refused, he posted her nude pictures and video on Facebook.
The girl lodged a complaint with police against the youth. On the basis of the complaint, police arrested him.
