A 25-year-old married youth of Gatibeda village in the Sunabeda plateau area under the Komna police limits of Nuapada district committed suicide by hanging on Sunday morning after murdering his 60-year old father.
It was learnt from the villagers that the youth had quarreled with his father for being always drunk. The youth hanged self from a tree 100 metres away from the place, where he had murdered his father.
The police were informed about the incident by villagers, but cops were yet to reach the spot till writing of this report.
