A youth was arrested by Bari Ramchandrapur police in Jajpur district on charges of making fake IDs by posting photos of young women, chatting on Instagram and threatening to make pornographic photos viral.
The arrested youth is Sushant Behera of Jantuali village under the Bangsada police station of Bhadrak district. While working in Hyderabad, Behera used fake IDs on Instagram to blackmail and chat with various young women. A young woman from Bari-Ramchandrapur police station area had lodged a complaint with the Enei police on June 20 in this regard.
According to police, a case has been registered against Behera at Jagatsinghpur police station on charges of blackmailing a woman. Many young women, on the other hand, have been reported to be victims of his blackmailing. Behera was forwarded to court on Saturday.
