At a time, when the educated youths are reportedly engaged in cell phone and chain snatching and other crimes in Bhubaneswar, a youth has demonstrated honesty by returning a Rs 2,000-note to the person who lost it.
The incident happened on June 20 in the IRC village area, where scribe lalit Mishra lost the money inside a residential area. Rama Chandra Nayak, 32, who works in a NGO found the currency note and after making an inquiry handed it over to Mishra. Despite being poor, the youth exhibited the act of honesty and left behind an example for others to follow.
