Pratap Moharana (19) drowned in the river Brahmani near Khapuriapada village while taking bath on Monday morning. He was working as a daily labourer in nearby Kalinganagar Dinabandhu Plant. Sources said Moharana along with three friends had gone to the Brahmani river to take bath.
However, while bathing, Moharana’s feet slipped and he disappeared in the water. His friends failed to trace him out and called the fire brigade of Jajpur Road, which reached at the spot in the afternoon and fished out the body.
