Family members of a youth, who succumbed to his injuries at a hospital here in the wee hours of Sunday, alleged that he was tortured and attacked by staff of a hotel near the KIIT Square where he was working.
Deceased Rabi Narayan Sahu (26) of Kendrapada district was working as a supervisor of Siyaram hotel. The Infocity police on Saturday evening found him lying severely injured at the hotel side and sent him to the SUM Hospital in an ambulance of the KIIMS Medical College.
Sahu was found dead in morning. local people informed the Khandagiri police about his death. The Khandagiri police called their Infocity counterparts and sent the body to the Capital Hospital for autopsy. On Sunday morning, Sahu's family members had recognised the body at hospital. They went to Siyaram hotel owner Gyana Ranjan Jena’s house but could not meet him.
