A 27-year-old youth died at the VIMSAR in Burla on Tuesday, three days after he was administered Covid-19 vaccine. However, the Health Department stated that the cause of the death was not related to the vaccination.As per reports, Nanakram Keuta of Dianmunda village was working as a security guard at the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH). After vaccination, he was diagnosed with bleeding disorder, severe anaemia and intra-cerebral hemorrhage. Earlier, a 59-year-old woman Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) Supervisor of Bijepur in Bargarh district, a 27-year-old Staff Nurse of Bargarh district and a 45-year-old ASHA Worker of Jagatsinghpur district had developed Adverse Event Following Immunisation (AEFI) and were hospitalised. Their conditions became stable after treatment.
