large number of Yasoda workers, whose services have been discontinued by the Health Department recently, staged a demonstration in front of the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) here demanding immediate revocation of the Government’s decision and ensuring steps for their job security.

State Yasoda Sangha general secretary Mamata Biswal said the State Government had appointed as many as 156 Yasoda workers in 15 DHHs for child and mother’s abrupt mortality under the NRHM project.
