The Xavier University Bhubaneswar (XUB) opened its School of Commerce on Tuesday with State Additional Chief Secretary, Finance Upendra Nath Behera inaugurating it as the chief guest.
XUB Vice-Chancellor Father Paul Fernandes, SJ welcomed the first batch of students of the School of Commerce and introduced Prof PK Mohanty as Dean. Guest of honour Rajib Sekhar Sahoo said commerce education has assumed importance as banks, insurance firms and industries hasgrown manifold.
