The Xavier Institute of Management Bhubaneswar (XIMB) celebrated its Silver Jubilee Convocation here on Monday.
A total of 412 management graduates belonging to the Doctoral-level Fellow Programme in Management, Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management, PG Diploma in Rural Management, PG Diploma in Human Resources Management, PG Diploma in Management Part-Time and PG Diploma in Management Part-Time Weekend passed out this year.
Chief guest Jaspal Singh Bindra, General Manager of South Asia and General Manager of Standard Chartered Bank India, exhorted the graduating students on the need for integrity, commitment and hard work for leading our nation to prosperity.
Other dignitaries present included Rajive Kaul, Chairman NICCO Corporation and Chairman of the XIMB Board of Governors, Director of XIMB Father Paul Fernandes, Dean Administration Father PD Thomas and Dean Academics Prof Subhajyoti Ray.
The Director presented the Annual Report of the institute for 2012-13 with the observation that the XIMB aspired to lead the country in management education by focusing on research and innovation.
