The Xavier School of Rural Management (XSRM) in collaboration with the RM Alumni Committee of Xavier University, Bhubaneswar (XUB) hosted leadership summit ‘XPectRM’ here on Wednesday aimed to provide the students a comprehensive view on the wonders from rural inclusive finance, rural marketing to social business and entrepreneurship.
XSRM Dean Prof Kajri Mishra, XUB Registrar EA Augustine and Director (Finance) Donald D Silva attended as guests and inaugurated the summit where Ratnesh Jha, Rajendra Narayan Mahapatra, Jayesh K Jain, Tanwi Kumari, Phaneendra Doddapaneni, Alok Pattanayak, Charudutta Panigrahi, Pratyush K Panda, Tapan Kumar Das, Ramesh Jena, Rajarshi D Sarkar, Aditi Nanda, Vasudevan Chinnathambi and Lopamudra Mohanty were the speaker.
Augustine and Silva congratulated the committee and spoke on the need for such events that aims at extracting more and more knowledge from experiences of industry stalwarts, who are great leaders in their respective fields.
Different session focused on ‘Development Policy and Livelihood’, ‘Social Business and Entrepreneurship’, ‘Rural Inclusive Finance’ and ‘Rural Business Development and Marketing’ were held followed by an interactive question and answer round. The annual magazine of the committee “Alohomora” was released on the occasion.
