Envision 2016”, the annual business conclave, organised by X-SYS, the systems association of XIMB-XUB, and “Stratonomics 2016”, the annual business conclave organised by CONSTRAT, consulting and strategy association of XIMB-XUB, took place at the Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar, on Saturday.
The theme of the two conclaves was “Disruptive Innovation”. While “Envision 2016” focused on implementing technology for businesses, “Stratonomics 2016” focused on factors affecting innovation in Indian business scenario.
The speakers for “Envision 2016” were Debasis Bal, Senior Director, Data Science, Fidelity Investments, Piyush Kumar Chowhan, Vice President and CIO, Arvind lifestyle Brands limited, Sashikant Mohanty, Regional Practice Head, Asia Pacific and Japan, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Sourav Dutta, Director, Business Intelligence and Analytics, Target Corporation. The event was moderated by Prof Deepak Mishra of XIMB-XUB.
The speakers for “Stratonomics 2016” were Madan Mohapatra, Head of Customer Strategy, Future Group, Krishanu Chakravarty, Business head, OlAM International, Suhel Bidani, senior program officer, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and Ashok Dash, Director, Microsoft Partner Business. An interactive question and answer sessions with the audience followed.
